Description
The Jagat Shiromani Temple is one of the oldest temples in Amber town and stands as a prime example of early 17th-century Mahameru Prasad architecture. The temple complex comprises a sanctum, vestibule, and mandapa, with projecting screen windows on either side. Elevated on a high ornate Adhisthana, the three-story Garbhagriha is crowned by a Sikhara adorned with successive rows of urushringas and karanshringas. The two-story mandap features lateral transepts on both sides. The walls of the upper story and the ceiling are adorned with paintings. In front of the temple is the intricately carved marble Garuda-mandapa, dedicated to Garuda, the carrier of Lord Vishnu. This photo captures the temple's majestic beauty from a low angle using a OnePlus 8 mobile camera. The frame-in-frame shot beautifully showcases the incredible ancient Indian architectural style.
